Environmental Pledge
At Mobile Mountain Massage we are proud to be a Montagne Verte Foundation Member one of the top tier supporters of positive environmental change in Morzine and the surrounding region and commit to a pledge to improve our environmental practice and minimise our impact.
Montagne Verte is a non-profit public benefit association working to providing solutions for mountain residents, visitors and businesses alike, to minimise their environmental impact. In collaborating closely with regional stakeholders, they aim to provide a valuable resource that brings together all kinds of helpful information and support, allowing greener decisions to be made in a timelier fashion.
As a member of Montagne Verte, we are contributing to the important process of turning Morzine and its neighbouring towns into a more sustainable tourism destination.
”Together we make a collective and a collective can make a difference.”
We are therefore committing to, or already engaged in, the following:
- Carbon Offset all treatment transport via a tree planting initiative.
- Have recycled or sustainably sourced uniforms. Currently our t-shirts are organic cotton, outerwear will be replaced as needed to avoid fabric waste.
- Use reusable cloths and environmentally sound cleaning products for cleaning the couches, eliminating baby wipes totally.
- The grape seed oil we use is sourced from Spain, from a sustainable environment, is 100% pure, containing no chemicals, or GMO and is not tested on animals. Find out more at: www.pearlnaturaloils.com
- We are proud to now have our main transport to and from massages a hybrid electric plug in vehicle.
- Reduce the need for regular re-printing by pairing down the information on the flyers, with live prices, current locations and more complete descriptions of each treatment available on the website.

Google Calendar API Privacy Policy Sections
## Data Accessed
Our booking system integrates with Google Calendar API to synchronize appointment bookings with administrator and therapist Google Calendars. The application accesses the following Google user data:
– **Calendar Events**: The application requests access to create, read, update, and delete calendar events in the Google Calendar accounts of authorized administrators and therapists. This access is limited to the scope `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events`, which allows the application to manage calendar events on behalf of the calendar owner.
The Google Calendar API is only accessed by authorized administrators and therapists who have explicitly linked their Google Calendar accounts through our OAuth integration. End users (clients making bookings) do not directly interact with or authorize Google Calendar API access.
## Data Usage
The application uses Google Calendar API to:
1. **Create Calendar Events**: When a client booking is confirmed, the application creates calendar events in the linked Google Calendar(s) of the assigned therapist and any administrators who have enabled calendar synchronization. These events include:
– Service name(s) and details
– Appointment date and time
– Location information
– Service duration and pricing information
2. **Update Calendar Events**: If booking details are modified (such as time, date, or services), the corresponding calendar events are automatically updated in the linked Google Calendars.
3. **Delete Calendar Events**: When bookings are cancelled or deleted, the corresponding calendar events are removed from the linked Google Calendars.
Client personal information (including name, email address, notes, and payment information) is stored securely in our WordPress database but is not directly transmitted to or stored in Google Calendar. However, this information is used internally to generate and manage the calendar events that are synchronized with Google Calendar.
## Data Sharing
**Google Calendar Data Sharing**: Booking information (service details, appointment times, dates, and locations) is shared with Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API. This data is stored in the Google Calendar accounts of authorized administrators and therapists who have linked their calendars. The purpose of this sharing is to enable calendar synchronization so that appointments appear in the administrators’ and therapists’ personal Google Calendars for scheduling and management purposes.
**Third-Party Sharing**: We do not share Google Calendar data or client personal information with any third parties other than Google (for calendar synchronization purposes) and Stripe (for payment processing, as disclosed separately in our payment processing terms). All data sharing is limited to what is necessary for the core functionality of the booking system.
**Client Data**: Client personal information (client name, email address, notes, and payment information) is stored in our secure WordPress database and is not shared with Google Calendar. This information remains on our servers and is only accessible to authorized administrators for booking management purposes.
## Data Storage & Protection
**Google Calendar Data**: Calendar events created through our application are stored in the Google Calendar accounts of authorized administrators and therapists. Google’s own privacy and security policies govern the storage and protection of this data. We recommend reviewing Google’s privacy policy for information about how Google protects calendar data.
**Local Data Storage**: Client booking information, including client name, email address, notes, and payment information, is stored securely in our WordPress database. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect this data, including:
– Secure database storage with access controls
– Encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission
– Regular security updates and patches
– Access restricted to authorized administrators only
– Secure OAuth token storage for Google Calendar API authentication
**Access Tokens**: Google Calendar OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens are stored securely in our WordPress database and are only accessible to the specific user account that authorized the calendar connection. These tokens are used exclusively for calendar synchronization and are never shared with third parties.
## Data Retention & Deletion
**Google Calendar Events**: Calendar events created in Google Calendars will remain in those calendars until:
– The booking is cancelled or deleted, at which point the corresponding calendar event is automatically removed
– The administrator or therapist unlinks their Google Calendar account, at which point no further events will be created or updated
– The administrator or therapist manually deletes the events from their Google Calendar
**Local Booking Data**: Client booking information is retained in our database for as long as necessary to provide booking services and comply with legal obligations. Booking records are typically retained for a minimum period as required by applicable data protection and financial record-keeping laws.
**Data Deletion Requests**: Clients may request deletion of their booking data by contacting us at [your contact email/address]. Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will:
1. Delete the client’s personal information from our database (name, email, notes)
2. Remove or anonymize associated booking records where legally permissible
3. Delete any corresponding calendar events from linked Google Calendars (if the booking is still active)
Please note that some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes (such as financial transaction records required by tax laws), but will be anonymized where possible.
**Google Calendar Account Unlinking**: Administrators and therapists can unlink their Google Calendar accounts at any time through the plugin settings. When an account is unlinked:
– OAuth tokens are immediately deleted from our database
– No further calendar events will be created or updated
– Existing calendar events will remain in the Google Calendar (but can be manually deleted by the calendar owner)
